Located in a northern suburb of Atlanta, GA, The Epstein School is an Independent Jewish Day School serving 450 students from pre-school entry level through 8th grade.
The “Building our Future” Capital Campaign focused heavily on “updating” an aging 1960’s public school facility which no longer met the needs of their dynamic and growing program. The project included the remodeling of the kitchen and multi-purpose cafeteria, providing the dietary staff healthier meal options and improved serving capacity, new acoustical treatments, LED theatrical lighting and an improved sound system to enhance the performance capability in the space.
All improvements were based on “life/cost” analysis, conducted by Chapman Coyle Chapman Architecture & Planning, to provide the Epstein School the most cost effective and efficient building envelope, fenestration and building systems to reduce operating cost and ensure a healthy and safe learning environment.
Through the vision provided by Chapman Coyle Chapman, a dark, dated aging facility was transformed into a dynamic learning environment.
